2WD vehicles that meet SCORE/BITD or Rally America specs

Class 1, Class 10, Predator X-18, 1/2 -1600 etc.
4WD
4WD vehicles that meet SCORE/BITD or Rally America specs
37” tire maximum
Class 3, Class 2, Stock Full, JeepSpeed, etc.
STOCK UTV
Stock suspension, knuckles, brakes and steering components
Spring and sway bars are open
Stock motor (both normally aspirated and turbo run together)
Modifications for safety purposes allowed
31” tire max size
MODIFIED UTV
Two sub classes Turbo and Non Turbo
33” tire max
Stock pivot points and motor location
Aftermarket suspension and bolt on replacement parts allowed
UNLIMITED UTV
35” tires
Prototype UTV vehicles not available to the public

ENDURO MOTO
Open to all bikes that comply with the specifications of the manufacturer’s official
catalogue with a maximum displacement of 525cc
This is a class aimed at amateur and first time rally raid enthusiasts using
standard/lightly modified 450cc bikes
THUMPER MOTO
Open to bikes over 525cc
Specifically aimed at the new generation of adventure bikes (KTM 790,
Yamaha Tenere, 701 Enduro)
PRO MOTO
Engine capacity limited to 450cc

UTV – FREE ENTRY DAKAR 2026 – Sonora Rally will again be the North American ROAD TO DAKAR event for UTVs, where the winner of this category receives a FREE ENTRY into the Dakar Rally 2026.

MOTOS: DREAMS OF DAKAR Class: Win the Dreams of Dakar class, and upon your acceptance by ASO, into Dakar 2026 or 2027, the Sonora Rally organization will pay $10,000 toward your entry fees!
