For over 10 years Sonora Rally Schools have been the rally training ground for world champions including Sara Price, Ricky Brabec, Skyler Howes, Mason Klein, Daniel González Reina, Jorge Hernández Calva, Hector Guerrero and many more.

Whether you are a first timer or a veteran looking to sharpen your navigation skills for an upcoming rally… SONORA IS THE PLACE TO START!

These educational programs are a key factor in preparing competitors for the unique challenges of international rally raid. For those ready to begin their own journey or sharpen their skills before March, the organization is confirming two upcoming training opportunities in the legendary dunes of San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora:

These schools offer the only opportunity to train directly with the source, where drivers and riders learn to master roadbooks in a classroom atmosphere and then immediately apply those skills in the vast expanse of the Gran Desierto de Altar. While there’s more than one way to reach your dreams, the Sonora Rally gives you the map and the training to survive your Hero’s Journey. As the dust settles from one season, the preparations for the next are already underway.

Sonora Rally navigation school will combine classroom training with practical application road book exercises, in the nearby Altar desert and dunes. The road books will be designed by Sonora Rally organization and instruction will be provided by two-time Dakar class winner and Sonora Rally organizer, Darren Skilton and Sonora Rally OPS director Rodo Fernandez.

COST: $675 PER PERSON
INCLUDED: Two mini stage roadbooks, Classroom Instruction, Practical Dune Training, Use of Rally Comp Device, Sonora Rally T-Shirt, Breakfast Daily, Saturday Dinner at El Bohemio.
NOT INCLUDED: Hotel, Lunch, Snacks, Water, Vehicle or Bike to run stages equipped with rally odometer, Fuel, México Insurance
NOTE*: 4×4 vehicles must be street legal with at least 31 inch tires
